Cordula Haas is currently a Senior Biologist at the Institute of Legal Medicine at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. She studied Biology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. She did a PhD at the Institute of Toxicology (ETH Zurich) and a Postdoc at the Institute of Anatomy (University of Zurich). Her current duties include research in forensic molecular genetics, supervision of master and PhD students, quality management and casework. Her research interests include RNA profiling methods for body fluid identification and investigation of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) with molecular-genetic markers. She is a member of the Swiss Society of Legal Medicine (SGRM), the European DNA profiling group (EDNAP) and the International Society of Forensic Genetics (ISFG).
