Who decides where the body will be taken after the post-mortem examination at the IRM-UZH?

The relatives decide where the body is to be taken following the post-mortem examination. The transfer is carried out by a licensed undertaker or funeral home. To arrange the funeral (transfer, cremation (yes/no), date of the funeral, etc.), please contact the funeral office in the deceased person’s place of residence. They will assist you with the necessary formalities.
